Although I've travelled frequently for the last 17 years, this particular adventure started in 2023. I followed my intuition and booked a two week solo trip to Scotland — a place I knew nothing about. I didn’t know anyone there. I hadn’t even seen Outlander yet. I just felt a deep pull, like the universe was calling me, and I said YES.
And then... it was the worst start to a trip I’d ever had.
I missed my flight. My luggage got lost. I couldn’t sleep for the first three nights. And to top it all off, I got hit by a taxi. (Yes — an actual taxi. Yes — I’m okay.)
With scrapes, bruises, and bags under my eyes, I began to seriously question if following my gut was a smart move.
That was... until I took a 3-day tour of the Scottish Highlands. Something shifted.
It was as if I met a kindred spirit in the land, the air, and the lochs. I felt an instant, almost ancestral bond...YES! With Scotland?! Scotland spoke to somewhere deep within me — and I’ve been back several times since. I can't get enough.
I'm told my love for Scotland is infectious. Friends started saying things like, “Next time you go, I’m coming with you!”
So when trip #3 came around, I extended an invitation. To my surprise, enough friends signed up that I ended up planning two full trips.
And that’s when something else shifted.
Watching people open up, light up, and fall in love with their own experiences through travel made me realize — this is so much more than just handling trip logistics.
It’s about creating space for real transformation, shared joy, and connection - which is such a gift. Solo frolics are epic. But group frolics? They’re something else entirely.
Thus, The Frolic Collective was born.
We think we know who we are — but often only inside a narrow set of routines and roles. Travel lets you surprise yourself. It’s not just the places that change you, it’s who you get to be inside them.

Then we'll hop on a 1:1 zoom call to answer any questions you may have and really make sure our vibe is your vibe! This is a no pressure - mutual a vibe check. If we both want to move forward you'll officially secure your spot with a non-refundable $300 deposit due within 7 days of approval.
We handle all major details — from lodging and excursions to built-in magic. You’ll get a welcome guide, custom prep docs, checklists, and more - so you’re fully supported from start to finish.
The definition of frolic is to play and run about happily. And, that's just what we'll do in some gorgeous city or incredible mountainous landscape by the sea or winter wonderland. Put in that PTO, turn your do not disturb on, we're catching flights and FROLICKING BABY!!
